I had the meanest mother in the whole world. While other kids ate
candy for breakfast, I had to have cereal, eggs or toast. When others had cokes and candy for lunch, I had to eat a sandwich. As you can guess, my supper was different than the other kids’ also.

But at least, I wasn’t alone in my sufferings. My sister and two brothers had the same mean mother as I did.

This made me smile. I don’t know if it’s just coincidence but my mother raised us like this! Almost everything that is written here! So speechless! I so love our mom! She really has a talent— in nagging. Haha! Without her telling us bluntly how bad we were, how stubborn and stupid we could get, we wouldn’t be able to have this life like the author of this post. I like this last few words! Amen to that :)

I’ve been out for minutes, days, and weeks! And now, I am ready to share what happened to my only summer getaway this year! :D Get ready to see the heavenly gardens, falls and seas in our country! (Haha, promote?)

So last May 10, my family and I went to Mindanao to visit our relatives and to spend our summer as well. The last time I was in Mindanao was like five to six years ago so it’s really nice to see them all and spend all our summer getaways with them (my cousins, nephews, neices, titos and titas, everyone!). :D 

So right now, I’ll just jot down the places we visited during our 9- day Mindanao Getaway. :D

DAY1: NAIA3 Manila to CDO Airport, SM CDO, CDO Airport, Linamon Miranda Compound! 

DAY2: Memorial Park, Iligan City, Mimbalot Falls, Tinago Falls

DAY3: Roadtrip to Dakak, Zamboanga. :> [Bardge to Ozamis, Dakak Park & Beach Resort, Fantasyland]

DAY4: Mother’s Day Roadtrip Version [Dakak Park & Beach Resort, Roadtrip Photos @ Oroquieta Blvd]

DAY5: Timoga Pools & Maria Cristina Falls

DAY 6 and 7: Camiguin [Old Church Ruins, Sunken Cemetery, Walkway, Cold and Hot Springs, White Island] and Linamon Party for Tito’s Birthday! :D

DAY 8: Rest Day =)) Just visited the area which Sendong destroyed. 

DAY 9: Linamon to CDO Airport

So there it is! No Bohol and Cebu for me. No Dahilayan and ziplines. No water rafting for me, as well. Therefore, I have a reason to go back! Ofcourse, I always have a reason to go back :) It’s more fun in the Philippines <3

That moment when you miss someone and then that person talked to you the day after. Saya!

Just had a short vacay with friends in Ilocos! :D Kahit mainit, naenjoy ko naman ng todo. And at last, may natuloy na sa mga lakad ko this summer! At nakarating na din ako sa isa sa mga gusto kong puntahan sa pinas! Isn’t amazing? Travel bucket list: Ilocos, check! Next stop: Mindanao (Longest zipline) and Bohol! Yay :D

Ilocos trip with Jailene and Norielle :D Went to Batac/Paoay/Laoag, Ilocos Norte to see Marcos’ belongings. Literal na puro Marcos. He’s like everywhere. Ang creepy na nga eh =)) Kahit yung wax formation ng sinasabing katawan niya, medyo creepy talaga. Feels like real. ANG MARCOS. 

The next day, Khalil and Ate Gayle arrived. Sinuyod pa namin lalo ang Ilocos Norte :)) Went to Cape Bojeador (Lighthouse), Kapurpurawan (white rock formations), Bangui Windmills, and the ever famous Pagudpud. :D On our third and last day, we went down to Ilocos Sur to see the animals in Baluarte, plants in the Hidden Garden and the heritage village of Vigan. :D Then went around the place to buy goodies/ pasalubong then had our very own crazy zipline experience across the river! Followed by attending Sunday mass, had dinner and went back to Manila. :D
